
Code of Conduct
In order to participate in The Oilmen's Invitational event, all Board members, golfers, sponsors, and volunteers must agree to abide by this code of conduct ("Code of Conduct"). The Oilmen's Invitational Board of Directors and its partners reserve the exclusive and sole right to enforce its code of conduct.
Expected Behavior
In order to support an environment that builds on our core values and mission statement, the following behaviors are expected of all participants in any Oilmen’s Invitational sponsored events:

Be aware and participate safely on the course, including travel to and from the courses and venues.

Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.

Act with respect towards everyone you encounter, including event and venue staff.

Exercise consideration in your speech and actions.

Behave in accordance with professional standards such as this Code of Conduct, your respective employer’s policies, all golf course and private venue rules, and applicable laws).
Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment, rude or lewd behavior and/or unprofessional actions that interferes with any other attendee’s experience or participation are unacceptable behaviors.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include but are not limited to the following:

Intoxicated and drunken behavior.

Loud and/or lewd music.

Disregard for golf course etiquette.
-
Demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior or speech, including but not limited to personal insults, or any language that insults or demeans the characteristics of a person protected under U.S. federal, state or local law.

Deliberate intimidation or harassment of a fellow participant.
-
Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person or group.
-
Bullying including repeated verbal abuse; verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a threatening, intimidating or humiliating nature; or the sabotage or undermining of a person’s performance.

Theft or inappropriate removal and possession of another’s property.
-
Use, distribution, sale, or transfer of illegal drugs.
-
Any other illegal or inappropriate activity or forms of ill behavior not covered above.

Consequences for Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated at Oilmen’s Invitational sponsored events. Anyone asked by an Oilmen’s Board member or affiliate to stop engaging in unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior or fails to comply with expected behavior at any time during the sponsored event, an Oilmen’s Board member may take any action it deems appropriate, including but not limited to removing the participant from the event without a refund.
What to Do About Unacceptable Behavior
If you witness or are subjected to unacceptable behavior or have any other concerns at an Oilmen’s-sponsored event, notify an Oilmen’s Board Member, Course Marshal, or Event Staff as soon as possible. If you have questions in advance of the event regarding the Code of Conduct or its implementation, please email Curt Dykes, Chairman of The Oilmen’s Invitational Board of Directors.
Agreement
In line with and in consideration for my participation in all Oilmen’s Invitational sponsored events, I accept and will adhere to its Core Values and Code of Conduct while participating. I understand that The Oilmen’s Board may take any action it deems appropriate, including removing me from the event without a refund, should I fail to adhere to its Code of Conduct and that invitations for succeeding events will be terminated.
